How fees work

  • If you pay yourself

You pay us directly, at each visit or for a block of visits paid together. We do not bill Medicare or other plans. Your therapist and you set the fee in writing before you pay, and it does not change with your plan.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

After each payment you get an itemized receipt to send to your plan. Your plan may or may not reimburse you from the receipt (a superbill), and we cannot tell you in advance. The plan decides.

  • An estimate in advance

If you pay without insurance, we give you a written good faith estimate before your first visit and before any block of visits. If a bill ever comes in $400 or more above your estimate, you can dispute it. Ask for a new estimate whenever your plan of care changes.

  • Checking your benefits

We do not check benefits, because we do not bill your plan. If you hope to be reimbursed, call your plan first and ask about out-of-network physical therapy and what a receipt must show.

  • What the first visit includes

A full hour with one physical therapist: your history, a hands-on exam, a look at how you run or lift, a written plan and an estimate for what comes next. Your therapist explains the risks of any technique before using it.

    • A full hour, one therapist

    • A written plan and estimate

    • Nothing is decided for you on day one

What a plan may reimburse

We do not bill Medicare or other plans. If you hope to be reimbursed, a receipt is what your plan asks for, and your plan decides.

What you can book

Evaluation, follow-up or a block of visits

Each is quoted in writing before you pay. How fees work has the rest.

  • 01
    First visit

    Evaluation

A full hour with one physical therapist. Your history, a hands-on exam, movement and lift or run testing, and a written plan. You get a written estimate before you pay.

  • 02
    Each visit after

    Follow-up

Treatment, loading and coaching with the same therapist. The length is set with you, not by a plan's limits, and your plan of care changes as you do.

  • 03
    Paid together

    A block of visits

Some people pay for a planned block of visits together. Before you agree, we write what it includes, its term, how to cancel and what is refunded if you stop early.

Ask for an estimate

Tell us how and when to reach you, and we send a written estimate before you pay.
