Your first visit

A full hour, in five parts

Every first visit runs the same way, so you know what to expect before you walk in.

  • 01

    Before you come

You request a time, and we send a written estimate. You read it before anything is paid.

  • 02

    Arrive

Come in your training clothes. There is no long paper form to fill out at the desk; intake is on our portal.

  • 03

    Your history

Your therapist asks about your week: what you run or lift, what changed and what you want to get back to.

  • 04

    The exam

A hands-on exam, plus a look at how you run or lift. Your therapist explains the risks of any technique before using it.

  • 05

    Your plan

You leave with a plan in writing and an estimate for what comes next. You decide what you want to do.

Bring

What to wear and bring

  • What you train in

Shorts or leggings you can run or squat in, and a top that lets us see your shoulders.

  • Your shoes

The shoes you run or lift in, even if they are worn. We look at them.

  • Your notes

Anything from a physician, and your training log or plan if you keep one.

What is not decided

Nothing is decided for you on day one

You leave with a plan and a written estimate, not a commitment. A block of visits, a video follow-up or dry needling, where state law allows it, are things we talk about when they fit, and only if you want them.
